Good news about project.

For some time I was negotiating with couple of companies about sponsoring my project  bit. Today I got reply form one of the companies that, after some inside company discussion they  decided to, show some intrest in helping, however amount of help is still unknown, I'm let say happy as every little helps. For sure they won't pay all for the trip...

Brief Calculation about trip to Prague

After doing some math, I came to this :
Accomodation costst - hostel  160$ for 6 nights for 2 people.
Transport fares - ca 50$ for 2 people
Food   -  aprox 10$ a day per person  so it will be 120$ on whole week.
Transport Warsaw-Prague-Warsaw aprox 30$ per person  60$ in total
So at the end,  total cost will be  390-400$
But im aware that its only part of the costs. Other ones are printing book, and postcards. and other stuff.
While publishing e-book will cost nothing, printing a book would cost me additional 450$ fo 100 books (100 pages) (of course depends on contents)

But those are only future plans. Now on. Warsaw awaits. one night or more (probably more tho). At least 50 photos.  First Shooting Night will be 7/8 of March.   Stay tuned.

As You may have noticed this photo is used as a background for the blog. There is a discussion about if this photo should be front page of a e-book and or printed version. For sure it will be included, amongst other, well choosen pics.

Little update on project

First of all Im not alone on this. I work on it with my friend, Ewelina. Last few days we spent on discussion about the project. We are using online "mind maps" services. Funny thing is, that, this little project started as a one time night photo shooting, grow up to a bit noticable size. After brief counting I end up with 91 - mind maps bubbles, and growing. We are carefully planning what we are about to include in our project. Apart from that I was researching on printing costs, travel, food, and other expenses. (Actually not including Warsaw).
Our Night trip in Warsaw in 7/8 march  will include  50 carefully selected photos (this will count towards e-book and book photos), plus even more non selected photos, bacstage vids and so on.  We are now discussing the facbook page for the project, but, if so, we'd put only materials, that won't be included in e-book and printed version and / or freebies attached to book and so on.

Let's Start

As a night creature, I love to observe what is happening outside. Night landscape simply calms me down. Recently, I was wondering what I can do  in life. And suddenly it dawned on me. Show the world your personal look for a night on the town. I'm well aware of the fact that the internet have a great amount of night photos. But it's  not  about collection of images for myself, ultimately I want to publish an e-book and maybe a printed version. Who knows. The first city on the list is Warsaw. If all goes as it should, the next goal will be the Czech Prague.
